Chichen Itza - Uxmal (2days/1night)
Just 68 miles south of Merida lies Uxmal, considered one of the loveliest archeological sites in the Mayan World. Uxmal dates from the classic period (299 - 900 AD) and is through to have reached its peak as capital of south west Yucatan around 800 AD the name Uxmal means "Thrice built" but there is evidence of five periods of construction.
Tour includes the following:
Day One
8:00am Pick up at the Hotels in Cancun
9:00am Depart to Chichen Itza
11:15am Arrive to Chichen Itza and guided Tour of the Archeological Zone.
2:00pm Buffet Lunch at the Restaurant
3:00pm Depart Chichen Itza to Merida and continue to Uxmal
4:30pm Arrive to the Hotel in Uxmal
7 - 8:00pm Light & Sound show at the Archeological Zone with guide.
9:00pm Dinner at the Hotel and overnight.
Day Two
8:00am Continental breakfast: Juice, coffee, sweet rolls and fruit.
9:00am Guided visit of the Ruins of Uxmal
11:30am Return to Merida followed by a City Tour (Lunch is not included)
4:00pm Depart Merida to Cancun
8:00pm Arrive to Cancun
